HERBAL REMEDIES: -
- Lutein Elixir: - A unique blend of high potency herbal extracts which is composed of Calendula officinalis, Euphrasia officinalis, Vaccinium myrtillus & Hemidesmus indicus, which support the eyes and help counter glaucoma. - Ingredients: - - Calendula officinalis contains a high concentration of the antioxidant Lutein, from which it is extracted. Its stimulates the eyes’ mechanism to heal itself hence gradually improves the vision. - Euphrasia officinalis is an old and popular remedy used in Europe as an antioxidant herb that fights free radical damage. It has astringent and tonic properties that relieves inflamed eyes. - Vaccinium myrtillus contains the antioxidant anthocyanoside which help prevent and reverse damage caused to cells in macular degeneration by regenerating the protein rhodopsinin in the retina. - Hemidesmus indicus contains Coumarins, Triterpenoid saponins as well as various other compounds. - Dosage: -
¾ teaspoon (or 2ml) 2 times daily. Pour in 50ml of hot water, wait until it is cold & drink after the main meals. Advised to take around 1 hour away if you are taking milk. Precaution: Avoid or decrease the dosage if patients have a history of bleeding retina.
This is a unique blend of Lavender, Vetiver and Ylang ylang essential oils in sunflower oil base.
